Here is my cartoon creation for an alternative ending of the story.



Basically in my ending, Bruno and Shmuel managed to sneak out of the whole group of Jews
and meanwhile Mother found out that Bruno was missing and went to inform his father and soon ,
they went to search for him.
It was just when Bruno and Shmuel  ran quite some distance away, they were caught by a soldier who was ready to shoot them,coincidentally, Bruno's father found him in that situation and before he could stop that soldier ,he pulled the trigger and killed the two boys. Unfortunate for his father as they watched his son die with his own eyes.

My thoughts about the ending...

Hello,
after reading 'The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas' written by John Boyne ,
I personally feel that the ending was not as bad as what my friends had told me . I really like the idea of Bruno's father realizing what had happened to Bruno eventually . The ending of the story really made me feel emotional as I can really put myself into Bruno's family's shoes after they had lost him.
I could as if feel myself in their helpless and desperate situation .
Moreover, the message that the author wanted to convey was delivered clearly .Overall I really think that the ending was well written.
